The calculators and live tools are provided for general informational and arithmetic purposes. Results should be independently checked when they affect contracts, payroll, legal deadlines, compliance or financial decisions.

Specialized rules such as statutory holidays, labor-law break requirements and jurisdiction-specific deadline rules are not implied unless a calculator explicitly states that they are included.

The Stopwatch, Countdown Timer (including its Meeting Timer, Presentation Timer, Classroom Timer and Study Timer profiles) and Online Alarm Clock run in your browser tab and depend on the active browser, tab, device, operating system and power state to keep counting or alert you. Timing and alerts are not guaranteed if the browser or tab is closed, the device sleeps, the browser is throttled in the background, audio is blocked or restricted, or the device loses power.

Because of this, none of these tools should be relied on as the sole safeguard for emergencies, medication reminders, participant safety, medical decisions, legal deadlines, compliance deadlines, or any other safety-critical use.
