How this calculator works
Opens with a ready-made agenda — Introduction, Discussion, Decisions, Wrap-up — each stage its own duration. Edit the stages, add or remove one, or switch back to a single timer if you just need one block of time.
Stage changes are manual by default: when a stage's time runs out, the display switches to counting up as OVERTIME instead of silently jumping ahead, so a facilitator decides when to move on with a visible "Next stage" click rather than losing track of an overrun mid-discussion.
Warning thresholds (10 and 5 minutes by default) apply to whichever stage is currently running, and the fullscreen display keeps the current stage, its warning state and any overtime clearly visible from across the room.
Copy Setup Link shares the agenda and timing so someone else can open the exact same starting point. Because stage changes are manual, live progress can't be reconstructed from a link the way an automatic countdown can — sharing a link starts a fresh copy of the setup, not a synced view of an in-progress meeting.
The tool is arithmetic only. Where legal, payroll, holiday, timezone or jurisdiction-specific rules matter, the page states what is and is not included.
Frequently asked questions
What happens when an agenda stage runs over?
The display switches to OVERTIME and counts up from that stage's own end point instead of auto-advancing. Nothing is lost — click "Next stage" whenever you're ready to move on, or "Finish sequence" on the final stage.
Can I automatically advance meeting stages?
Yes — switch "Stage changes" to Automatically in Options. Meetings default to manual because overruns are common and usually worth seeing, but automatic advancing is available whenever you'd rather the timer move on by itself.
Can I share this meeting's timer with attendees?
Copy Setup Link shares the agenda and starting configuration for someone else to run themselves. Live sharing (a synced, already-running view) isn't available for manual stage changes, since progress depends on when the facilitator clicks Next — switch to automatic stage changes if you need a live-synced link.
